PlaceholderDraft for review. Have this checked by a legal adviser and fill in the bracketed details before launch.

These terms apply when you use the Lory Coffee website and when you buy from us. By placing an order, you agree to them. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

About us

Lory Coffee is owned by [seller’s business name], ABN [seller’s ABN] (“Lory Coffee”, “we”, “us”). We sell the products on this website and are responsible for your orders, payments and refunds. You can contact us at [contact email].

This website is built and operated on our behalf by calebfrancia.com, which is not the seller of any products.

Our products

We describe and photograph our coffees as accurately as we can. Coffee is a natural product, so flavour can vary a little between roasts, and tasting notes are a guide rather than a guarantee. Colours on screen may differ slightly from the packaging.

Prices

Prices are shown in Australian dollars and include any GST that applies. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but changes won’t affect orders we’ve already accepted.

Orders and payment

When you place an order, you’re making an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your order confirmation. If a product is unavailable or was listed with an obvious error, such as the wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We don’t store your card details. See our Privacy Policy for how your information is handled.

Delivery

We deliver to the addresses and within the timeframes set out on our Shipping page. Delivery times are estimates. Responsibility for your order passes to you once it has been delivered to the address you gave us.

Returns and your consumer rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Our Returns page explains how to contact us about a problem with your order.

Using our website

You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don’t misuse it, interfere with how it works or try to gain unauthorised access. The content of this website, including our name, logo, packaging, text and images, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied without permission.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and apart from your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our products. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, it is limited to replacing the goods or refunding the price you paid.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [state or territory], Australia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order. Questions? Contact us at [contact email].
